The Power of Love
Love...
It’s the highest energy in the universe. It is the natural state of all human beings. Watch babies. They hug and love, giving it freely.
It is only when we grow older and realize our separateness from God and from one another that the concept of Love gets distorted.
Fear of what others think of us causes us to lose it for ourselves. Judgement and comparison causes us to lose it for each other.
How important is Love? It’s Big…really Big. It is the foundation of every religion and the commandment of all great spiritual teachers. It is pure power.
It’s a radical concept to believe In the oneness of the universe--that as I see and treat the world, I see and treat myself. So as I do unto others, I do unto myself because we are all a part of the same universal force.
My trick for moving in an attitude of love is simply to let go of expectation. That’s it. As I let go of expecting things to go a certain way, or for people or situations to be a certain way, space is made and love can move in and dwell freely.
In my opinion, it is a currency that is more valuable than money.
Send love out every chance you get. To yourself, to God and to others. Appreciate the role you play in the larger scheme of things and know that as you give out love in every moment, it will be returned to you in one big cosmic kiss.
